At what cost of fear and mental strain
Was its reputation bought?
Anne's life ensured her towering fame
Will last and still be taught.
Her bright eyes twinkle amid the Stygian shame
With her girlish turn of thought.
Her life enhancing story scores
Her foe's is less than nought.
Oh how this sprightly spirit soars
As she even dares to court.
Not to read this book would be a waste
Methinks good people ought to.
And do so with all decent haste
Just catch it to get caught too.
