A World of Difference ©

Mystery Rose
USA
2005

I live in a place
Where the pastures are green
And lots of flowers make up the scene

I turn to see the “other” world
Where fighting and Wars, everyday occurs

I can’t imagine living in that way
It doesn’t seem to have much purpose
Or theory of why
It doesn’t seem to have a raison d'être
That people die

I can’t touch it
Nor smell the burn
But I can see the faces of the negative effects
I can see the hopelessness
I can feel the despair
My hands are folded
I sit in prayer
