BED TIME ©

June Farrell
Ayr, Scotland
2005

I just lie here thinking
Of all the things we’ve said
I love to think of you
When I'm tired and in my bed
I lay me down
And cover my head
As I get comfy in my bed
I say my prayers
And wish you well
And wish you were here to tell
I close my eyes
And fall asleep
Knowing that you
Will be wishing
For the same thing as well
