Upon the killed flesh beneath his hands.
Sinews fat: a bloody business;
He completed his task with a professional's finesse
Through sweated tears he finally focuses on the woman's face
Cleans his hands of all the bloody mess
And says: "You'll enjoy these lamb cutlets Mrs Mace."
