A magnificent adventure!
That's how we must treat life.
A glorious one, to savor;
Despite the uncertain tide.

Seize each day as it comes;
Facing both victory and strife.
Never let a memory be gone;
Cherish things, be they dotted or stripes.

For one day you may look back;
Stories for your grandchildren's ears.
What you've become wasn't all luck;
You just embraced all joys and tears.

Now as you read this poem I write;
May you see things the way I do.
For all to see that life is bright;
Spread this light, it starts with you.
