Catch the Falling Tear ©

Sarah Buis
Secret Harbour, Western Australia
2004

The mist was more beautiful this day,
Peace and serenity were all that mattered.
My breath, it was taken away,
Over those rich green hills where time stands still.

My heart does not belong here,
Torn between centuries of bitter disputes.
I catch the falling tear,
I can feel......
I do feel....
Take me back to my beyond.
