Come Dance With Me ©

Josephine Duthie
Aberdeen, Scotland
2001

Come stay with me,
come share my life.
Come dance with me
and be my wife.
Come bring with you
a stage of light,
and frame by frame
we'll take the night.
We'll open time
and face to face
we'll dance our way
through time and space.
We'll leave behind
our final tears,
remove the ties
that bind our fears,
and when at last
the music dies,
we'll melt away
among the skies.
