Andrew Blake
Invergordon, Scotland
2005

It's all light when new
dimming ah! dimming commeth in
This is the Light
I heard it say as
I descended to a blindness

Awake, oh waken this mind
see the strings that dangle you
snap, snap, snap and fall
lie helpless on you're back
and look up

The puppeteer has flown
yet the wake has brought fear
all that was held safe is gone
but your eyes, your eyes
