Spring has died...
Summer, now in full bloom;
Intense heat and light breeze,
Luring sun lovers from their TV sets;
The weekend, crowded with shoppers.
Seagulls fly below the magenta clouds
Like glider-planes sail through the hazy morn.
The beach, gradually filled with bathers.
Turquoise ember shimmers dimly on the ocean,
Glistening joy upon the sleeping sky.
Along the dull horizon
A huge oil tanker pencils exhaustedly,
Its funnels emit gray clouds of smoke
That trickle up, toward the city of Celeste.
