Do you speak to me? ©

Mystery Rose
USA
2006

I write poetry
For it is my outlet in this life
I send messages to you
And I hope you listen tonight

Although sometimes your work
Mirrors my poetry
I often wonder if I am crazy
Or are you talking to me?

All of a sudden without warning
You were on my mind
Again; as previously

I struggle in this life
I wonder sometimes aimlessly
But I know one day we shall meet again
For it is destiny

So my heart listens when you speak
I may not be present
But I am here eternally

I am on your side
I am a protector from afar
If you ever need me
Please know I am not far
