Earth Ruler ©

John C Gillies
Edinburgh, Scotland
2004

As sure as the sun do rise
you can see this, with your
own two eyes.
A story is about to unfold
it must be told.
Before it becomes late, and they
come knocking on your gate.
Under their rule, we will be
with a chip in our neck you
see, under their rule all day.
Not bothered some do say, it's
safer that way.
One earth ruler is here to stay
that is the day you lose your say.
