Forever ©

John C Gillies
Edinburgh, Scotland
2003

Nothing`s forever, in our
physical world.
As time takes its toll,
and your body grows old.
You're caught between two
worlds, and your soul
must break away.
From its physical being,
it can`t stay.
It must leave, that old decaying
body, as your soul, has become
of age.
