Heart ©

Stella
Fife, Scotland
2005

Our heart is a mirror carried within
When viewed it can reflect truly
The right answer
A clear mind can sift known knowledge
But without that heartfelt nod
Only a partial truth exists

We get by using mind brain and logic
But the heart like a soaring bird
Sings truth and worth
Adds a dimension that multiplies
And seeks renewal
This heart gift once learned enhances life

Think of opposites ..duality
To wander aimlessly without grounding
Or that safe returning to a haven
Like a boat moored in it's harbour
The heart present at all times
Provides this once it has been primed
