Her Night Shines ©

Tri Tran
California, USA
2005

In the vortex of darkness,
The summer moon is swaying dreamily...
Silence, murmuring to the leaves,
The lillies, lost their amber glow,
Forever, yearning to unfold their wings.

The cyan sky, now, filled with black paint,
Lies above the auburn soil of England,
Waiting for divine light to bloom, once again.
A young princess, from her wooden cocoon,
Emerges into the world to find tranquility, again...
