I'm not looking for a wife ©

I saw my ex in the town one day and her smile is still the same
She didn't look at me at all, don't think she remembers my name
I wonder if my name is forgotten, it's been so long
I'm sure it's now forgotten, like the words of a lousy song
Memories come, memories go, love is like the summer flowers that fade away in the winter snow
But one day a new flower will come along and maybe I will remember the words of a loving song
But up until that day comes I will continue with my life
Looking for that loving female friend, but "NO THANKS!" I wouldn't have a wife
