Peter Paterson
Bellshill, Scotland
1977

A quiet man; a modest man
From fame he could'nae hide,
It sought him out long years ago
Now he's known worldwide.
His career it spanned from radio
Into the TV age,
And where auld Scotia's traditions thrive
His music is all the rage.
In the wealth of his recordings
A fortune left to all,
So easy for the future
To play and to recall.
