Leaving My Heart Behind ©

On the train from Stirling station
I through the windows gaze
I see the moulded castle walls
In the morning haze
I never stop to wonder
I never cease to praise
This country of my homeland
Which holds a special place
The shadow of your smile
It lingers on my face
As we walk along the distant
Dreams we never did do chase
Bordering paths of reminiscence
The purple heather grows
Like wisps of fragile lace
Away in the horizon
I hear the bagpipes play
Haunts of Amazing Grace
