The worst feeling I have ever known
Is to be in this world all alone
I reached for you and I did not find
Your arms around me, holding me tight

Where did you go
And when did you leave
Iíve been so busy
I just thought you would always be

Now I journey with all this time
I wish now I had taken your hand in mine
I could of held you when the night seemed long
I would of showed you how deep my love was drawn

I dream of you most every night
You comfort me even though you are nowhere in sight
I search through the treasures inside my heart
You're holding the key to a very precious part

Even though I am not standing beside you today
You represent compassion, honesty and truth
In all my dismay
