Ma Plooks! ©

by H Marshall
Scotland
2002

The plooks oan ma face
Are aw' o'er the place,
They're yellow, black an' green,
The doctur cannae help me,
A wish a wis never seen!

Ah've tried aw' they creams,
The diets an' aw',
But nuthin' seems tae help,
If ma sister laughs at me again,
Ah'll gie her an awfy skelp!

It's no fair tae laugh
At the afflicted,
It's no fair tae mak them greet,
Some o' the maist afflicted,
Are the best folk ye'll ever meet!
