Don't worry Friend,
you're safe
you feel pain no more.
For God has wrapped you in his
loving arms and taken you away.
For the short time you were with me
you brought me love and joy,
now life without you brings me pain
that stays deep inside of me.
Nothing will ever comfort the pain
I feel for you
as I think about the fun we had
the times we spent together.
I know that I will never know
another special friend like you,
so farewell my friend
goodbye,
you're at peace now,
you will never be forgotten.
