My Pets ©

Anne Dickson
Irvine, Scotland
2006

I have a rabbit, two in fact.
One has long ears and is really fat.
The other is a little one,
with tiny ears and lots of fun.

They run about the grass and play,
the two of them throughout the day.
They eat the grass and hop about,
having fun I have no doubt.

They really are a joy to me,
hopping around so all can see,
that they are having so much fun,
playing around in their new run.

One of them is brown and white,
the other is just grey.
The little one is the boss
and keeps the bigger one at bay.

They like to eat lots of veg
and lots of bunny treats.
They have ate and played all day
and now it's time to sleep
