My Pup ©

I have a pup, he is so sweet,
he likes to lie just at my feet.
He eats and sleeps most of the day,
just like a baby in a way.

He plays just for a little while,
when he does it makes me smile.
He runs about as if he's mad,
but having fun, I am quite glad.

He will learn when he gets older,
to be good and be much bolder.
He is a pup and can be a pest,
now he is sleeping and having a rest.
