My Savior ©

Sabrina Sheldon
Silsbee, USA
2004

I think with wonder and sadness as I think of what you did for me and my sins.
You died for me and my family and friends.
I wish it were different I wish it weren't true
becomes at times I feel I am unworthy of being blessed by you.
I thank you and praise you and love you as well
and I'll cherish you always for you make life better than hell.
I am eternally grateful to you and I shall praise
you always even if it would cause me to die
you are my lord and savior who died for my sins
and although I will feel unworthy
I shall always thank you again and again.
