After I am gone; buried deep in the ground
I hope what I have lived can be easily found

It requires no books and no degree
It only takes the blood flowing from your heart to your feet

I entered this world by the grace of God
God gave me life, so that he might carry on

God gave me free will to use as I want
God gave me mercy when I sought

God ask nothing of me
But I know I had to do
Good work in all my presence
For this life to make a new

My children will go forward
Paying forward everyday
The kindness and compassion
That was present and with them
Day after day after day
