I breathe deeply the wet wild wood
as an ice blue moon watches
from a cloud covered frame
I breathe the cool clean air
every pore of my rainwater beaded skin
breathes it in
The language of birds
caresses my senses with a variety
of persuasive song
Sweet the pine scent on the big black cat
with glowing yellow green eyes
who has chosen me as friend
Entranced in the wilderness heart,
I breathe the life force within Rainwood
all the while daydreaming of ancient rituals
