David Russell McLean
Stenhousemuir, Scotland
2013

Will providence, with such a role
Gift mortal man, divine parole
Or destined eviction?
The obscurity of our earthly soul
To celestial fiction.

Indifferent thoughts - mankind's committal
Brings a Holy water odious ripple
We must amend,
The epilogue for man's acquittal
Would be the earth befriend.
