Shadows ©

Bruce Clark Dick
Forfar, Scotland
2008

Our lives are shadows, on a summer's day
Some long and tall, that last all day.

Some blossom early, but peak too soon
Their shadows gone, before it's noon.

Some small shadows, they never come
They're loved the most, by dad and mum.
