Spring Has Arrived! ©

When winter smoke
From the galley has blown away,
And Simmer Dims
Peep on the way...
Tirricks return
And selkies play -
Beyond heavens
A hundred isles smile at Spring Day!
...The thirsty Moon
Swallowed the tide through
Night and day;
The last snow drops melted
Away...
Our waegs return
And neesicks play -
To the sun we tilted away.
Spring has arrived!
Primroses
Are paving our way;
Beneath the sea
Copepods are swinging
Away...
Solans return -
Laverocks play;
Clouds are rolling caressing hay...
Life has returned!
The Southerlies are
Sighing our migrants the way;
Out on the hill
"Mister Snipe" is drumming
Away...
Sea craas return
And linties play -
My heart and soul shine on Spring Day.
