Tall man, striding long
Singing life’s eternal song
What’s tomorrow in life’s foray?
“Carpe Diem” come!! seize the day
Savor what has gone before
What’s “new” arriving on our shore?
But the time is “now” is what I say
“Carpe Diem” please seize the day
He once stood tall he once stood strong,
He once stood firm against the throng,
But ”Gather your rosebuds while you may”
“Carpe Diem” just seize the day.
It's over now he’s gone to rest
Along life’s way he passed the test
He grabbed the “moment” along the way
“Carpe Diem”. He seized the day!
