stop to talk.
needles wilt
in the park.
muggers pick out
diamonds in the dark.
imprison yourself.

just turned
sweet sixteen,
a rucksack a dream.
pot full of honey.
chains on legs,
big fat crowds
of money.

didn’t you read
the warning sign.
hey
no fault of mine.
parents pass the buck.
