The Edge of the Frozen Sea ©

Beyond the waves of our desires
We lay stranded beneath the sea;
Above our heads a wall of ice
Was built to hold its secrecy.
All around us the seeds of life
Like ghosts are roaming the wild sea;
Awaiting love - a beam of light,
To find at last hope and mercy...
Breaking away from the darkness,
We are swimming amidst the seals;
To reach the edge of its whiteness,
We must surmount all our ordeals.
Beyond the waves of their desires,
We were stranded now we are free;
Swimming away from melting ice,
So strong our love - so blue the sea.
