Who are the people who matter to you?
Who were the people you found?
Who were the people, who touched on your life,
And effectively turned your life round?
Who were the people you loved without doubt,
without questioning motives or reason,
Irrespective of place or of colour, or race,
Irrespective of time or of season?
Who are the people you look to for help,
when everything falls down around you?
The people you know who will never say no
because they were just happy they found you.
In each of our lives there are people we love,
In whose love and attention we’ve basked.
The people who matter to you and to me
Are the one’s we love... no questions asked.
