There's a Hole in My Life ©

Anne Dickson
Irvine, Scotland
2006

There's a hole in my life,
where the sun shines through.
Whenever my feelings turn to you.

There's a tear in my eye,
but it's not so bad.
From the joy in my heart,
that will leave me glad.

There's a light at the end of a cloudy day.
When I know that an angel will come my way.

There's a song that I sing and I sing for you.
When I think of the wonderful things you do.

There's a feeling I have,
deep inside my heart.
And it tries to hurt me,
when we are apart.

There's a hole in my life,
that was filled you see.
When an angel came down,
and set me free.
