An ever-changing entity,
never still for a second.
Teeming with life and motion,
which no other earthly phenomenon possesses.
A beauty unsurpassed by any other,
be it inanimate or brimming with life energy.
A shimmering canvas,
of pearlescent blue and green.
Like a million sparkling sapphires,
majestic among the hills and valleys of the Earth.
Giver of life to millions of creatures,
microscopic or magnificent.
Dolphins glide effortlessly through the mysterious depths,
like so many silver bullets, sleek and swift.
Whilst the humble manatee and the delicate starfish relax carefree,
surrounded by the mystical substance which sustains their fragile lives.
