The anticipation is mounting;
soon we will be together again.
Holding one another,
and I realise, I know
that the best place for me to be,
is in your arms.

I hear your heart beating,
as your being surrounds me,
and I am cocooned in loving warmth.
When I am down, I think of that place
and my heart smiles again.
