Valentines day is the time of year.
When we send lots of cards.
To boyfriends and girlfriends all over the world.
And postmen are working hard.

We send to wives and husbands,
And people we admire.
Some send their love in secret.
As they are afraid of their desire.

We also send out lots of flowers.
Give boxes of chocolates too.
They make our sweethearts giggle.
And smile at me and you.

We write down rhymes of our sweet love.
And tell them how we feel.
It is a loving time of year.
When magic seems so real.

Some of us just snuggle up,
And have a quiet night.
Others they go out for meals,
And eat by candlelight.

I hope your day is happy.
And you take lots of care.
It is the one day of the year.
When love is in the air.
