Like ships in the dark I put out to sea
And drifted silently away from native shores
But deep inside my torn heart a beacon of hope
Reaches out like a fountain of lost youth
For me who should discover what
The stormy tidal waves of destiny capture
At the bottom of the ocean of mystery
You and me we find ourselves sailing a parallel line
Of total chaos and confusion
Thinking of a missed chance
Cold night and unfairness
The solitaire symphony of misplaced childhood
But to our reciprocal identity
We must assign a mutual course
Together we shall point the compass
To converge our routes
Lest the tide may change
Or the hourglass of regrets flows away fast
So Nature's role is my intrinsic rule
Which confronts me with the past
Like calm seas that have unburdened their struggle
My story reflects the inner recess of our hearts
With sturdy arms I will raise the sheet anchor
And search for my true shores in Scotland
Until our mutual sails are in sight
I will keep the faith
To gather with you again once more
