WE DANCE ON ICE ©

June Farrell
Ayr, Scotland
2006

A blue montine of bowing bluebells
A wall of ice between us
as we dance
We glance at each other
A smile, we shy away
only to return
we reach out
as we glide to each other
heads bowed
arms fold and unfold
as we glide
we shy away
only to spine
To reach out again
dance dance dance
Hearts bursting
the moon our light
the stars our music
hands reach the wall to touch
we skate along hand to hand
the wall is melting
feel the feeling
feel the feelings
hand in hand we dance we skate
amongst the stars around the moon
closer closer smiles bright
eyes shining out
we're together as one
breath for this
night we are born
Fly fly now hand in hand
we fly the heavens
the mountains amongst the bluebells
fly for now is our time together
we are reborn
we are one
