White Stone ©

Stella
Fife, Scotland
2005

My mission is to find a stone
To carry as a token
Move it through my fingers
Feel it cool and calm
So gather from its presence
A grounding of my own

The shore of a gentle river
Or the wide and open sea
Will gift its token bounty
Meant exclusively for me

My quest has as its purpose
A symbol of that stone
That lies in Heaven's garden
My name written upon
